Watch A Two-Seat Airplane Come In For A Fast Landing Near Smithers

This was on Day 5 of a 6-day trip.

Tad Smith went on an epic journey last month. He flew a two-seat, single-engine Super Cub plane from Texas to Alaska. It was 54 hours of flying time spread out over six days.

“I was just ready to be on the ground,” he says of finishing the trip.

On Day 5 he arrived at the airport in Smithers, and you can see a clip of the approach and landing here. The video is short and sweet, but will give you a sense of the skill and courage required to fly one of these small planes.

Check out Smith’s YouTube page to see other clips from his journey.
